Kolam, the first exclusive capsule by Kove was inspired by one of the island’s well preserved crafts, Kolam mask culture. Kolam is a low country tradition originated in the southern coast. It’s a form of folk culture that’s commonly used to ward evil bring prosperity. Being inspired by the mask culture the folktales behind it,this capsule has been designed around bringing this well persevered craft culture into a modern light. Kolam is an understated luxe capsule focusing on contemporary print developments, subtle tailoring and a monochrome colour palette. All the statement pieces are styled with complementary timeless silhouettes to give the capsule a modern edge. The monochrome colour palette with batik print developments binds the capsule together with a unique identity.
